WORK SCHEDULE : Day shift – 7:00 am to 3:00 pm – 40 hours per week
SUMMARY OF THE POSITION
Under the responsibility of Quality Assurance & Engineering Manager, the Quality Assurance Technician performs all necessary measurements and tests to ensure product conformity.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain and develop the dimensional aspect of the production of fasteners through statistical process control (SPC) and dimensional sheets according to Infasco Nut’s quality system
Respond to customer requirements for dimensional qualities (measurements, complaints)
Monitor and maintain the calibration schedule of the various measuring devices used at Infasco Nut.
Reports to the Quality Assurance Manager.
Daily operation of the lab and its conformance to quality standards.
Metallurgical testing.
Gauge & Inspection Instrument control.
Formulates monthly Pareto charts for defects.
Control of quality inspection documents.
Checking all parts returned from the subcontractors.
Responsible for all technical and quality lab functions in the absence of the QA Manager.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 4 – 6 years’ experience in the field of quality control
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High school
Have a good knowledge of ISO, Word and Excel software
Enjoy working in a team environment
Be motivated, autonomous and responsible
Be rigorous and detail-oriented
Have a good sense of observation and be analytical
